Zap or Not Terms of Sale

These terms have not been reviewed by a lawyer.

What you are buying

Zap or Not sells one assessment, three digital guides packages, one scheduling product, and two personal services:

Zap or Not Assessment, $9. A personalized laser hair removal candidacy assessment: your ZAP or NOT verdict, your answers decoded, and your recommendations. Delivered on screen and by email after payment.
Fewest Visits Playbook, $9. A digital guide to getting results in the fewest appropriate visits. Offered as an add-on after the assessment.
Three-Guide Bundle, $19. Three digital guides: the Prep Guide, the Red Flags guide, and Why Laser Hasn't Worked for You. Offered as an add-on after the assessment.
GrowthSync Schedule, $29. A digital scheduling plan built on treating only when you have new growth, with the week-by-week timing windows explained.
Photo Review, $49. A personal review of photos you upload, by a laser specialist with 15 years of clinical experience. This is an opinion on candidacy, not a medical evaluation (see the Medical Disclaimer).
The Mom Test, $149. A personal service: we call a clinic you name, ask our standard questions as a prospective customer, and send you a written report of what the clinic states about its equipment and process.

All prices are in US dollars and may change at any time. The price you pay is the price shown at checkout.

Delivery

Digital products (the Playbook, the Three-Guide Bundle, and the GrowthSync Schedule) are delivered instantly after payment, by download and by email.
The Assessment results are shown on screen immediately after payment and also sent by email with a link back to your results.
Photo Review is delivered by email within 3 days (at maximum 7) of your photo upload.
The Mom Test report is delivered by email after the call is made.

If a delivery email does not arrive, check your spam folder first, then contact us and we will resend it.

Refund policy

We sell honest information and personal services, and the refund rules match that:

Downloadable guides (Playbook, Three-Guide Bundle, GrowthSync Schedule): no money-back guarantee. Once a guide is delivered, it cannot be returned, the same way you cannot un-read a book. If a file fails to download or arrives damaged, we will fix the delivery or refund that purchase.
Assessment ($9): if a technical failure prevents your results from being generated or delivered, we will fix it or refund the $9.
Photo Review ($49): reviewed within 3 days (at maximum 7) of your complete photo upload.
The Mom Test ($149): we make the call and send the report, or your money back. If we cannot complete the call (for example, the clinic never answers or refuses to discuss its services) or cannot deliver the report, you receive a full refund.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method through Stripe.

The Mom Test: what it is and what it is not

When you buy The Mom Test, you name a clinic. We call that clinic as a prospective customer would, ask about its equipment and wavelengths, what happens when a client has no regrowth, how it times sessions around growth cycles, and its summer protocols, and we send you a report of what the clinic stated.

Please understand the limits of this service:

The report covers what a clinic states about its equipment and process on a call. It is not an inspection, an audit, or a certification.
The Mom Test does not guarantee a clinic's safety, treatment quality, or your results.
The decision to book with any clinic is entirely yours.
Any treatment, outcome, or problem arising from treatment is between you and the clinic that treated you. Zap or Not is not responsible for any clinic's services.

Availability and capacity

The Photo Review and The Mom Test are personal services performed by a specialist, and capacity is limited. We may pause new sales of either service at any time, without notice, when the schedule is full. If a pause affects a service you have already paid for, we will complete it within the promised window or refund you in full. Pausing never cancels a delivery you are already owed.

Your responsibilities

Give accurate answers in the quiz and accurate information in service intake forms. Your verdict and recommendations are based on what you provide.
Upload only your own photos, or photos you have the right to share, for a Photo Review.
Your purchase is a license for your personal use only. Do not share, forward, post, or upload your results link or any downloaded guide anywhere, including Reddit, forums, social media, or file-sharing sites. Do not give the products away for free, resell them, or pass them off as your own. Sharing a purchase takes value from the person who created it, and accounts that share purchases may lose access without a refund.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Changes apply to purchases made after the updated terms are posted and do not change the refund rights of a purchase already made.
